LAURA NIETO
"My art is a reflection on the act of paying attention, on the passage of time, and on memory."
Laura Nieto (b. 1978, Medina del Campo, Spain) is a painter whose work contemplates the nature of attention, the passage of time, and the fluidity of memory. Since settling in San Sebastian in 2017, she has drawn inspiration from the city's atmosphere, translating fleeting moments of everyday life into evocative, representational paintings. Her practice has expanded to include floral still lifes—what she describes as “serene lives”—offering a quiet invitation to pause and reflect. Over time, her approach has become increasingly experimental, incorporating acrylics, aerosols, and iridescent pigments to heighten the interplay of light and texture. Through her work, she creates spaces of contemplation, illuminating the ephemeral with a profound and enduring presence.
DOMINIC BESNER"I do not paint the world as it is, but as it vibrates—with movement, with memory, with the pulse of the city and its creatures."
CODERCH & MALAVIA"Our sculptures are born from the unity of two voices, a harmonious dialogue between two sensibilities, shaping the human form into something poetic and profound."
OGNIAN ZEKOFF"The hands are the soul’s messengers, capturing the quiet moments and loud silences of life."
MAYA KULENOVIC"The process of sculpting is an act of negotiation between chaos and control, where each layer adds depth and meaning, only to be stripped away, leaving behind traces of what once was."
ALESANDRO LJUBICIC
"Through thick oil and bold strokes, I try to capture not just the beauty of nature, but its intensity, its chaos, its fragility."
ZHUANG HONG - YI"I want my works to invite the viewer to interact with them, to feel the colors and textures, and to discover something new from every angle."
