My fetish for objects has long been fueled by my studies and my work in design. My passion for the surface of objects, volumes, materials, the interplay of light, the story that each subject tells, the hidden world it carries within itself. I have collected, designed, photographed them in the dark room set up in my parents' basement. I felt like a chemist and a medium, giving new life, artistic if you will, to the subjects I photographed. Another old passion of mine is drawing, as a kid I used to draw comic strips in black and white, especially noir. A passion which I never systematically cultivated, but a constant interest.
