This Colorful Porsche 911 Art Car Is One-Of-Kind | Dominic Besner

CarBuzz
Designed by artist Dominic Besner and collaborator Yves Thibeault, the colorful Porsche 911 was created as part of the Art Cars Project for the Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Quebec in Canada. Besner and Thibeault used a combination of airbrushes, hand brushes, spray paints, felt-tip markers, finger-painting, and sanding. When it was new, the 911's 3.2-liter flat-six was rated at 217 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed and the battery was replaced in May 2020. Art cars are an acquired taste, but some Porsche purists will probably pass this off as vandalism. If, however, you fancy owning this one-of-a-kind Porsche 911 art car, it's currently for sale in Monterey, California, via Craigslist. At the time of writing, it has a current bid of $50,000 with two days until the auction ends.
