Spectral Serenade explores Zhuang Hong-Yi’s unique approach to colour, perception, and affective experience through his landscapes of rice paper textures. The exhibition showcases vibrant, colour-shifting flowerbeds that reflect a rich interplay of cultural discourses; with the lotus flower at the core of Zhuang’s expression as both gentle yet persevering symbol of equilibrium and a reminder of our interrelated existence with nature.

As environments in constant flux - always moving yet presented in a perfect stillness - the artworks engulf the viewer as part and parcel of the art’s dynamic nature, its enunciation.
